EPUG UK&I AGM – Programme and LAST CHANCE to register your attendance

Not long to go until this year’s AGM on Monday 11th April 2022.

If you haven’t already, please register your attendance on Eventbrite where you can select whether you’d like to attend in person at the British Library in London or online via Zoom webinar. The programme is available below.

The closing date for British Library attendance is this Thursday, 31st March at 17:00. Registrations for Zoom attendance is open until next Friday, 8th April at 17:00.

This event presents an excellent opportunity to network in a face-to-face environment with other UK&I institutions and Ex Libris. Where possible we’d like to encourage members of the EPUG UK&I community to consider attending in person if you feel safe doing so and are able to. If you have already registered as a Zoom participant but would instead like to attend the British Library please email epuguki.secretary@gmail.com, and vice versa.

If you have any questions for Ex Libris please include these in your registration or email them to epuguki.secretary@gmail.com by Thursday 31st March.

For those attending via Zoom, the joining link and instructions will be emailed to you towards the end of next week.

Registration now open for the EPUG UK&I AGM – Monday 11th April 2022

For this year’s AGM we are delighted to be welcoming the EPUG UK&I community back to the British Library Conference Centre for our first physical meeting in over 2 years.

This will be a long-awaited opportunity to not only engage with our speakers from both Ex Libris and the EPUG UK&I community but also a chance to network and have face-to-face discussions.

Whilst we recognise the benefits of attending in person we recognise that this may not be a feasible or preferred option for everyone, which is why this event will also be available remotely, via Zoom, broadcast live from the British Library Conference Centre.

Whether you’d like to attend in person or remotely, your membership fees contribute towards this FREE event, so please register your place today.

The event will take between 10:00 – 16:00 and topics to be covered include:

  • EPUG UK&I Business
  • Ex Libris Update
  • Ex Libris Support Update
  • RapidILL
  • Networking Lunch (for physical attendees)
  • Analytics Data Visualisations and Advanced Physical Holdings Search (Ex Libris Professional Services)
  • Leganto Dashboard & Analytics
  • Primo VE (possible topic – TBC)

These may be subject to change.

For those attending remotely you will need to have a Zoom account, which you will have if you have attended any other webinars in Zoom such as IGELU or EPUG UK&I AGM. Subtitles will be available.

Register now on Eventbrite

The registration form includes an option for submitting a question for the Ex Libris Q&A, alternatively you can email them to epuguki.secretary@gmail.com.

Registration closes:

  • Remote attendance via Zoom – Friday 8th April at 17:00

Registration is now open for the EPUG-UKI Conference to be held online via Zoom on Tuesday 12th October 2021 between 10:00 and 15:00.

Based on your feedback from the AGM in May we have made a few adjustments to the format of the event:

  • Single registration only – we have removed the extra Zoom registration form, so you only need to register once (on Eventbrite). However, you will still need to have a Zoom account, which you will have if you have attended any other webinars in Zoom such as IGELU or EPUG UK&I AGM.
  • Networking opportunities – in the previous online event we missed out on those valuable face to face chats over lunch and coffee. We’re including an optional session over lunch to allow those who may be interested to turn on their cameras/mics and chat about anything of interest.
  • Subtitles will be available within Zoom

Registration closes midday the day before the event (12 noon on 11th October).
